But I can't change time

I really feel the need to get this blog going because some changes are going on around me. Some good friends just told us they're moving away, I don't think it's really hit me yet. Carrie's been a part of my life for so long, I think it's the sort of change I'll feel more after it happens. Like, when there's something cool going on in town, a new restaurant to visit, I'll wish they were here to share it with. I know we'll keep in touch, but our friendship has always been local, and I'm not the best at maintaining long distance contact. But hey, Portland is a pretty attractive place to visit, so that will help things along, right? Reminds me of when Elizabeth Bennet says she fell in love with Darcy when she first glimpsed Pemberley.

I'm trying to find a thing, a hook, a reason for doing this blog, I can't quite put my finger on what it should be. Huh, I'm fucking boring I guess. Attempting to find a theme and failing makes me feel... inconsistent. Should I start actually doing something so I can blog about it? Seems a bit backwards, but hey, there's lots of stuff I'd like to get going on. Cooking, crafting, etc. Ooh, maybe I could make it about feminazi bonerkiller stuff. I'm good at that stuff, at least on the internets. It's something to consider at least.
